"We stopped here on a whim and lucky we did. We were seated on the deck with a great view of the lake. As this is a smaller restaurant you should get there earlier as they can run out of popular dishes. But from our experience the food was delicious and our server was entertaining."

"We have been there 5 or 6 times with different friends and because it's the only restaurant in the area it may have taken off too fast and has growing pains. The pizza is ok but could do with less cheese and the bottom of the crust has been soggy. They have a nice variety of dinners on the menu with specials. Salads and appetizers. The staff is friendly but in too much of a hurry that they have to come back to the table often for clarification of order. The wine selection is poor especially not having a basic Italian red wine when your menu is basically Italian. They can't keep saying they're working on it. The booths are very uncomfortable, the built in table is too narrow but they have a lot of seating that can be adjusted for all size of parties. Grass cutting and better signage would give the place some curb appeal. Needs a clean up. All in all we are very pleased that the McKenzie is back in operation and with some tweaking it should be around for a long time. Good Luck."
