We had a group of 17 seniors who attended tonight, for a post- pandemic freedom outing. Kostia violin, a gifted artist, played a wonderful variety of violin music. The sultry, breezy summer evening was perfect. Former mayor Ellen Polimeni was a volunteer hostess. "Vegan crepes are a concept hard to come by in this neighborhood but Simply Crepes totally delivers on their promise. The savory options are pretty good but the strawberry crepe in the sweets section is to die for! Word of caution though, do mention vegan when making a reservation so that they can advise on availability. We had brunch at the cafe twice during the same weekend and they had run out of the vegan pancake batter during our 2nd visit. Their good service came to the rescue once again and they prepared me a delicious Thai salad instead, completely on the house!"

"I have been going to simply crepes for years. I love the food, service is good. Today I ordered online. It was $45.00 for two breakfast sandwiches. They were delicious but the bread is not longer the thick Texas Toast type of bread and 19.75 for a breakfast sandwich is insanity. I know these are the times we are living in, but how for non organic ingredients and breakfast food can you charge this much?"
