Ok I have to admit they got this Memorial incredibly right but this review is about the snack bar The Landing Place. I stopped in for a coke and a snack and overlooked the lower floor of the exhibits. Great place to take a breather and just chill after walking thru the Memorial. Highly recommended!! What User doesn't like about The Landing Place:
Came in here for a coffee break while looking through the memorial. There is a real squeeze on this venue for tables and to order meals. Not always easy to secure a table - especially in cold times when outside is not an option. Having ordered some coffees and cake, it did take a while to come out. Our experience was average. When it rains, seating is very limited inside. People walked in then left when they saw the long queue, and not a lot of tables. Not...

Ordered 2 coffees today. One was so weak it did not appear to have any coffee in it and the other was so bitter it was disgusting. Coffees also took 10 minutes...
