As a fan of schnitzel, I couldn't resist the chance to check out a restaurant named after them, with a traditional German spelling for "House" as well. The schnitzels here are baked in the oven instead of fried, which really enhances the flavor and allows you to taste more of the veal or chicken. We were greeted quickly by a waiter and shown to a table. We then waited about ten minutes before we even received a menu, even though we saw a waitress bring in another family within that time and they received menus immediately. They also offer tasty sides of vegetables and gravy or sauces to complement the slightly drier texture of the baked schnitzels. And let's not forget about the irresistible sea salt and herb-covered wedge-style fries that complete the meal. Overall, this place is definitely worth the wait and is sure to satisfy any big appetite.
I discovered this restaurant when all the other places were fully booked during the Summer Nationals event. The staff were excellent and the food was delicious. The portions were generous and the dishes were freshly cooked. It's also a great option for vegetarians.
Arrived on a Monday night venue was at half capacity as there were many empty tables waitress cleared a table for us to sit and advised she would be back to clean the table waited approximately 5 minutes and watched same waitress walk past a number of times before calling over another waiter to clean tables and provide menu. Order taken promptly we than proceeded to wait for 30 minutes with no drinks. I approached the girl at the bar and explained that as we ordered a jug of beer if we had to wait much longer we would not have time to finish the beer. The girl at the bar was extremely frazzled and pointed out she had a long line of drink orders before mine. 10 minutes later we were served 2 glasses of beer not the jug we ordered. After 45 minutes we were than approached to advise they did not have any veal left - it was at this point we gave up and requested our order to be cancelled. Not sure about the food but if it's anything like the service it is best avoided.

Staff all friendly and willing to help. Menu covering pretty much difference kind of foods. Price range is fine and the schnitzel just amazing! Definitely will go again!
