We found this little trattoria purely by accident, whil looking for a place that was open during yesterday's blackout of the entire Yucatan Peninsula. This small restaurant has only 8 tables, and a not very extensive menu, but the food is very good and the prices are very reasonable. What User doesn't like about El Principio:
it is a scandal because service, staff and location are amazing, but eating was terrible. I felt nothing was done by scratches/creases. the tomato sauce from the gnocchi was clearly coming out of a box/container, gnocchi was super prime tasting that was guava juice. also the same situation come from a box. the carbonara also had no good taste, the only decent pasta was that with butter (not that you can easily melt)...
