we went for sushi and celebrate birthdays on our last day of vacation. the atmosphere, service and eating were all fantastic! it was more expensive than other restaurants we visited in cancun, but still very good! $100 per person including appetizer, salad, deer and alcoholic drinks) we have eaten a lot! also got a beautiful birthday gift with fireworks for birthday. would like to try the hibachi grill next time! What User doesn't like about Umami:
Service and physical environment were top notch! Bartender was very knowledgeable about mixology and server was attentive. Chef was lovely and engaging. Husband and I both order steak dishes and unfortunately both cuts were not great (New York strip and ribeye). Felt a little cheated on that end, for the cost it was a disappointment.
