"I've been going to Adega do Emídio since I was a child. First with my family, when we'd spend hours and hours lunching, only made bearable by the ice cream my grandfather would accept to buy me; then with groups of friends, at an age when I could already appreciate the extremely high quality of the meals and wine; recently back in a more quiet mode for a tête-à-tête. The menu hasn't changed. Codfish, pork, maybe another thing or two, but codfish and pork should be enough. The salad still tastes like salads should, the desserts are all home made. The prices on the menu are for full doses. A half dose is more than enough for one person and you might even take some of it home. The environment has always been nice, the people friendly. Personally, I'd avoid the fado nights, but if you like fado, that's a plus."
