"Cute little café with in and outside dining. Very aware of gluten-free needs. Makes sandwiches as a gluten-free wrap. Servers were very friendly and asked if this was an allergy or preference. Wrap came labeled as gluten-free. You’re able to order sandwiches in advance to take to Banff National Park. Food was good."

"The Grand, certainly living up to such a name, most importantly I believe it is the atmosphere that is provided by an establishment that embellishes what a top quality restaurant ought to be. Contending with another top quality restaurant I've rated elsewhere, this restaurant provided me with a very exceptional evening. Greeted and served by a phenomenal server, Mara I believed set a benchmark hostesses,waitresses and servers the like should strive to achieve. Was genuinely attentive, caring and friendly. You can sense a true desire to serve from a hostess and it was evident from the beginning this was her. Along with a very respectful kind eager to serve manager, Bu-ton I believe was essential in creating such a fine dining experience. The meal was very very satisfying, an 8 Oz. NY Striploin served with baby potatoes, veggies and gravy was very on point. Meal prep and delivery like none other. Finished with a crepe on the house is only setting the bar higher for established restaurants. In my opinion you're not gonna get much better than The Grand Kitchen Bar. I truly appreciate what you have provided me and my wife with tonight. Will recommend everywhere I go. To top it all off....it wasn't a meal for 2 over 100$. Who can top that? This is real world dining at its best. I am ever grateful for you hosting me."

"Amazing amazing food!! My boyfriend and I truly enjoyed every bite of both our appetizers (Carpaccio Burrata) and our mains (Shrimp risotto and Chicken Parpadelle). You would never expect to have your pallet blown away from the outside of the restaurant but WOW, definitely worth the stop when in Canmore or the detour when driving by. Had to give 4 stars because the service was mediocre. Although our server was very nice, he did not come check up on us as we ate our meals to see if we were enjoying our food or needed anything more (even though the restaurant only had a handful of other patrons). Additionally, when we finished our meals, we were met by a bit of a strange reaction/attitude when we declined the dessert menu Parking: Bunch of parking on the street near by!"

"COWS ice cream is excellent. I was not disappointed. It was a super cold day, but the ice cream was so worth it. So flavorful and they have such great flavors to choose from. Friendly staff too. Wish they had indoor seating but that's not a deal breaker at all. Great place to check out in Banff."

"We were there for dinner with family. We ordered couple of drinks and food. They forgot the drinks. We have to remind them. Similar situation with table next to us. They forgot appetizers.Overall food quality was fine. We order Chimayo Chile and honey glazed Salmon. Blackened Chicken burger."

"This is a must do in Banff. The warmth of the beavertails melds perfectly with the cold weather. Try the cinnamon and sugar or chocolate hazelnut for two nice flavours. Highly recommended."
