The focaccia they use is wonderful! We could have eaten a loaf each. I got the BLT, and my husband got a chicken salad sandwich, both of which were very tasty. Bella Crusta is a solid choice if you’re looking for an affordable meal while strolling through downtown Canmore.
The bread!!!! It is pure joy in my mouth. Best lunch in Canmore, hands down. The staff, the vibe, the FOOD! So good. Please please please teach me your bread ways! I need this focaccia recipe!!
Wanted to try this out after a hike. They start off with a few samples of the focaccia, this tastes pretty good. We ordered two sandwiches: the hot heartstopper and the cold salami calabrese. Honestly the focaccia was a little dense in the sandwiches but was fine in the samples. They both have pizza sauce inside which is alright, wish it was pesto or salsa tonnata. The sandwiches could use a bit more meat inside. The lady was really nice and welcoming and the view of the mountains and the Three Sisters is amazing.Parking: A few spots on the side of the building with free 30 customer parking.
Love this place just such good sandwiches and vibes! I had a chicken salad and it was AMAZING.
