"We had an excellent meal here, with friendly staff and nice ambiance. We aren 't local (we 're on a trip out west) but found this to be a highlight of our time in Banff and Canmore. There are not many Filipino options and it is not exactly authentic Filipino cuisine. The only Filipino Large Dish was the Kare Kare, which is pictured here BUT it was a great twist on it. I think they do some Filipino fusions and I am usually wary of those but they aced it here."

"Ankor was excellent. we had a great evening dinner there on the 20th. the duck and foie gras were delicious and the apple cocktail from the bar was one of the best drinks I had for years. the mood was nice and the conversation with the cook made for a really great dinner. I don't have any photos of desserts, but we also enjoyed them. prices were what they would expect for a beautiful restaurant with high quality ingredients. I would recommend the place without hesitation."

"Usually stop in for a "to go" sandwich or one of their lunch specials. Their seafood chowder is so chunky and filling. You can't go wrong picking up some bacon for breakfast or some sausages for your dinner. They also have prepped items that are super easy to toss on the bbq if you don't feel like "making" dinner. They also have sweets and treats to compliment any cravings. Such a nice little family run, small town "meating" spot."

"Hands down our favorite restaurant in Canmore (and there are so many to choose! . From the ambience of the great stone fireplace, always with a fire glow, to the incredible views from the window that play soft music, and of course the exquisite food. "Very cute place, small amount of seating inside, lots of seating outside with beautiful views. You grab a menu, sit down, look it over, go up and order it, and they bring it to you. The food here is BEYOND EXCELLENT.. seriously.. you have to go. I got the iced latte with caramel, Huervos Rancheros. My boyfriend ordered a omelet and my son ordered grilled cheese. I will always come here if im in Canmore."

"We recently moved to Canmore and my first goal is to find the best coffee, coming into the cafe with the plan of grabbing a coffee to go turned into ordering food. This place is set up openly and almost summery. A beautiful spot to have a healthy and tasty bite of food. I’m super impressed, all of the staff are kind, and really do enjoy their jobs. They make food with high quality ingredients and they put heart and effort into every single dish and coffee which by the way the Vanilla Latte is a 10/10"
