Our third visit to this wonderful restaurant/cafe/shop. Still very tasty food from the South-East of France. And very walletfriendly wine prices. But the impression was this time that the quality hadd slippes a little. Is the quality of the foie gras high enough? Excellent service,...as usual. View all feedback.
What گلاویز کریمی doesn't like about Excel Foie Gras:
I had planned since we had booked our hol in cannes. on this day and at the times the meal times were available. asked if we had returned between 2 and 3pm, the table menu would still be available. secured yes....Used by 2.40 to say by another employee that kitchen was closed. so disappointed. that was the last day of our get so we couldn't return. instead, le troquet a soupes visited and had excellent meal there! Excellent shop for Foie Gras, located at Forville Marche. They also offer tables for lunch, but i never tried (I only shop in there).
Located just opposite the wonderful markets, this is to die for (and maybe if you overdo it you could..ha).All these magnificent duck products and some to eat whilst you are there ...just buy a baguette from a couple of doors down. Always a line up, but they churn through the line pretty quickly. We bought quite a lot of the packaged duck products and have bought them home. Its a good French experience and the staff are lovely. We buy every time! This is NOT a restaurant!
We walked by this bistro by coincidence and fortunately they had table for 4 outside. We ordered amazing foie gras plates, menu of the day and delicious salad with foie gras and grilled guts. Once we are back, we will definitely go again!!!! Highly recommended! :)
Cannes is a tricky place when food is concerned. Often pricy and dedicated to the tourist's palate. This place doesn't. Ideallly situated next to the absolutely sublime Forville market, you can't go wrong here. This is food from France's south west, and if you like foie gras, confit de canard and delicious rose for less than ten euros a bottle, this is your place. The foie gras was so delicate we had to buy extra slices to bring back home to our flat.Fresh, French, cheap and delicious! We will be back. And notice, all feedback on this place is in French!!
A restaurant shop along the market with a very good south west kitchen and a real friendly staff (all). even for high season. very handy meat as well as accompaniment plates (inbergine and homemade fries...miam miam). really great discovery
