La Mome du Tapis Rouge - Cannes

The food was outstanding. I love pork but most of the time it comes a little dry. I had the Pluma Iberian Pork. The best pork I have ever had. It came with ratatouille and I ordered a side of potatoes. All wonderful. First I had burrata with tomato. My wife had feta and melon salad. Also great.The service was also excellent. Everyone from the front desk and the wait staff.

Mussels were to die for. Escargot simply amazing. The dorade fish I was served here was expertly grilled to perfection. Accompanied garnitures with hints of ginger were out-of-the-box and well-mated in flavors. The vegetables and couscous also blended harmoniously with the meal. The orange perfumed creme brulee was the best I've ever tried. Service was attentive. This place is located in a busy and loud part of Cannes, but it still maintains its culinary excellence nonetheless. I would definitely visit again and again.

Great service from the owner's daughter. My baby fell asleep, so we took some of my wife's salmon home. They vacuum packed it and labelled it, as they did with the legumes and also the mash. Great attention to detail.My steak tartare was excellent and well priced for the size of the portion.I would certainly recommend a visit if you're in cannes.

We ate there the night Jean-Pierre was in charge of the kitchen, and the meal was excellent....super foie gras, delicious goats cheese starters, and his signature risotto with gambas was magnificent. Rather good Cote de Provence red too, a great evening, most enjoyable.

Quality fresh food, great service and well priced.. What more would you want? I have tested many restaurants in Cannes both for business and pleasure and trust me... don't trust the guide books that recommend restaurants that have changed owners and chefs 3 times! The owner / chef of "La Môme du Tapis Rouge" offers tasty and beautifully prepared suggestions every evening always using seasonal products. His charming daughter makes sure you receive impeccable service. You will not be disappointed. I happily recommend this restaurant to friends, colleagues and most important clients. After dinner just walk outside and you will be in the heart of the "trendy area" of Cannes to enjoy after diner drinks or a minute from the beach for a nice walk. Trust the chef's recommendations. A real chef and professional!
