The View Bar Grill is on the top floor of the Holiday Inn and we ate in it when staying at the hotel. We were very perplexed when trying to go from our room to the restaurant to find that there is no up button on the lift. When we called it using the single button it was going down. What alan meyrick doesn't like about View Grill:
Staff are literally only interested in talking amongst themselves. I wanted a pint before bed, waited stood at the bar for over a minute before the three of them stopped talking to actually acknowledge I was there. Eventually they poured a drink. I sat down, the restaurant wasnt busy but enough people where there, and the staff were completely inattentive. I guess the view is that hotel guests will use this restauran... View all feedback.
