"Loved this place! The staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating and the food was delicious across the board with some different but well executed elements. It's a real shame the Mister venue is closing, I would absolutely have been back!"

"One of the best English breakfasts I've had in a long while and the staff are really friendly and helpful. One of our party is celiac as well as having other food allergies and they happily catered for her every need. Price per person: £40–50 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5"

"We had a Sunday lunch and a mid-week evening meal at The Alma. Both were lovely. We were camping at Painter’s Farm, a 5min walk away so we’d booked to have lunch there once we’d pitched our tents on the Sunday. We found out they were having a charity quiz that evening and as it was too cold to sit outside, we decided to go back; what a hoot! Our team came last but we had such a laugh. Both the landlord and his team, as well as the locals were really friendly and made us feel really welcome. The landlady is the chef; and I must say, her Thai chicken curry was delish!"
