"My favorite café in kent. great food, great prices, friendly helpful staff, incredibly clean. they have an impossiblely comprehensive menu. Full English, lasagne, countless sandwiches, fish and chips; the diversity is unmatched. Do not miss it or look at it somewhere else."

"Loved this place! The staff couldn't have been nicer or more accommodating and the food was delicious across the board with some different but well executed elements. It's a real shame the Mister venue is closing, I would absolutely have been back!"

"We had a Sunday lunch and a mid-week evening meal at The Alma. Both were lovely. We were camping at Painter’s Farm, a 5min walk away so we’d booked to have lunch there once we’d pitched our tents on the Sunday. We found out they were having a charity quiz that evening and as it was too cold to sit outside, we decided to go back; what a hoot! Our team came last but we had such a laugh. Both the landlord and his team, as well as the locals were really friendly and made us feel really welcome. The landlady is the chef; and I must say, her Thai chicken curry was delish!"

"This is our go to place when we have friends visiting or when we fancy a great eating experience. We’ve never had a disappointing meal here. The friendly atmosphere, with a touch of understated class is second to none. The menu changes every 6 weeks so it’s easy to be a repeat customer. 100% recommend The Dove."
