On holiday in Whitstable and spotted this pub, which is just out of the town centre, and because it looked lovely from the outside, we thought we would pop in for a drink. The pub and gardens are well maintained, and the bar staff were polite, however, the pub has a strange atmosphere we did not feel welcome, which wasn 't helped with locals standing right outside the door blocking entrance/exit. The restaurant has an area where one can eat at tables, and there's a counter where you can sit and enjoy. If the weather conditions are right, you can also eat and drink outside, and for your baby or toddler, there is a child's chair.
