We visited Sottopoggio regularly during an extended stay near Lucca and every single time we were not disappointed. Many friends also asked to visit again, having been the once. The drinks, cakes, morning pastries and lunches are all delicious and always mouthwateringly fresh. It is always busy with locals who also visit regularly so that's reassuring.
