What Tony Lehner doesn't like about Cafe Me:
I ordered the chicken Pad Thai. I asked for a heat scale of 3. It was more like a six. I couldn’t eat it without coughing. My sister told the server and he said that it was too late now. She told him that I wasn’t able to eat it. He had the cook make me another order but without any heat. He kept shaking his head with disapproval as he took my plate away. I love that I can eat GF without worry of cross contamination. Most all their baked goods are gf. BUT you could not tell by tasting it. All so delish Great coffee too. The cinnamon. Honey latte is amazing
My sister and I love this place. Every time we visit the owners know our order spinach, strawberry and pineapple smoothie . They are such sweet people and the atmosphere is awesome! We visit regularly!
This place warms my heart Great food (I mean, that popcorn! Amiright?! , great coffee, and such friendly people. Every time I come in, I end up in a conversation with an awesome person!
Great Coffee, Food, and Fellowship. In my time as a college student at SEMO, this has become one of my favorite places to study and down some bottomless coffee. The food is amazing and there are great options for anyone on a gluten free, vegan, or dairy free diet. Plus the staff is always super friendly.
I liked the atmosphere. I got the rice bowl without chicken. The menu said it was vegetarian, unfortunately it had a few pieces of chicken in it. There was a very large group in front of us, so it took a while 20-30 minutes for our food to come out. The staff was friendly. I will go here again, but maybe not during lunch. Also will get something else, to be sure not to get any meat.
