Decided to grab a bite to eat rather than cooking at the campsite. Cool spot in the bar below the Harbour Restaurant. Nice view of the harbor and the ferry, and the poutine was pretty decent (though with shredded cheese?? . Met some friendly locals that were very happy to tell us some stories and make our last night in Newfoundland very memorable. read more.

What Alfredo Grassi doesn't like about Harbour Restaurant:
Stopped for lunch today. Waitress did not even say hi! $3.00 for a glass of water. Service was extremely SLOW despite the place not being busy. Food was blah! To top it all off waitress takes her tip out of the cash in front of us. Keep driving not even worth the stop! read more.

We went to Jubilee and had a really good experience. The staff was so friendly and helpful. We were really fast to get out of order and the food was excellent....

"Nice pun with a wicked view. It's a small to medium size pub and restaurant but has a nice view of the Harbour. You can watch the ferry dock in and out. It's a great place to enjoy a beer and some grub!"

"We were visiting Port Aux Basques and asked the local people where to have a nice lunch. Their answer was The Seafood Reataurant in Margaree a 7 km drive from Port Aux Basques. Pictures of our lunch are shown. The seafood platter and chicken stir fry were excellent. Friendly staff, very scenic location. Thanks"

"What can I say about this place another one of my childhood staples. Since it's near the school they have lunchtime specials for the kids, they have a seniors discount, their food portions are always huge, they even have a sensory time for people with disabilities don't see that in very many places I tell you, food is always great, service is great, they always do stuff for the community and all in all I hope they always keep the great service and maybe lower some of the prices just a little once they can but if u do go to Port Aux Basques make sure this is one place you have on your bucket listKid-friendliness: Kids menu and they have a certain time dedicated to people with disabilitiesParking: Lots of parking as it's in the mallWheelchair accessibility: No trouble to get one in as it has to entrances to get into the restaurant one from outside and one inside the mall"
