"We were visiting Port Aux Basques and asked the local people where to have a nice lunch. Their answer was The Seafood Reataurant in Margaree a 7 km drive from Port Aux Basques. Pictures of our lunch are shown. The seafood platter and chicken stir fry were excellent. Friendly staff, very scenic location. Thanks"

"What can I say about this place another one of my childhood staples. Since it's near the school they have lunchtime specials for the kids, they have a seniors discount, their food portions are always huge, they even have a sensory time for people with disabilities don't see that in very many places I tell you, food is always great, service is great, they always do stuff for the community and all in all I hope they always keep the great service and maybe lower some of the prices just a little once they can but if u do go to Port Aux Basques make sure this is one place you have on your bucket listKid-friendliness: Kids menu and they have a certain time dedicated to people with disabilitiesParking: Lots of parking as it's in the mallWheelchair accessibility: No trouble to get one in as it has to entrances to get into the restaurant one from outside and one inside the mall"

"Great place from the beaten away. good the short drive worth. good return. tasty and much on the teller. we always try to eat here when we are in the opposite. the ultimate poutine is delicious...so are the desserts."

"Four of us ate here. This restaurant is in a community centre and staffed mainly by volunteers. The food we ate here twice) is fantastic, home made and very flavourful. You are lucky if you can finish your plate, The service was absolutely fabulous....The staff are super friendly. It was like a home coming. Very reasonably priced. I had a roast beef sandwich for 9.95 and it must have had a pound of meat. Absolutely delicious"

"OK, this is a pretty unpretentious place. They are running a little community restaurant out of the Rotary Club hall. But do yourself a favour if you find yourself out this way and try the moose stew. It was absolutely delicious. If moose is not to your liking then know the battered cod was exceptional as well. Fries are hand cut and well cooked. AND it's licensed so you can grab a little cheer, if the attitude of the staff is just not quite enough to do it."

"This was the first place we stopped at once reaching Newfoundland and the last place we went prior to heading back to the mainland. An absolute little local gem. Food is incredible and reasonably priced. Alma's homemade bread and breakfasts are to die for! Thank you for everything!"
