Just as I thought....not reliably there and then stuck. So back down the road to Smokin Tuna where I hear the food is good and probably still there.

Visited once then went back again. We each had a meat sandwich and the garlic fries. Wish you were in Vancouver. Best food of the whole trip!!

The Traveling Smoke Show is in Sooke every Thursday, and it's a must-do for us each week. The food is fresh and the flavors unique. Highly recommended!

The Salami Fries was everything I hoped for and more. The Chicken wrap was huge. In the end I was stuff like pig. DELICIOUS!!!

"Very tasty food prepared beautifully. We had butter chicken, aloo Gobi and lamb shish kebabs. All are recommended, but the kebabs are special. One word to the wise: their medium is quite hot! I usually enjoy spice but this was hot for my taste. I would go back and try milder. They are take out only (Nov 2023)"

"Best Mexican food in the whole Victoria. My wife and I enjoyed delicious taste of Plato Fiesta. The best choice for those who are new to Mexican food. You get a little bit of every thing they have to offer. Trying it will help you decide what you like more for your next visit. We had a very nice evening, delicious food, a very friendly server. Definitely going back again for more. 5 stars!"

"We were biking by looking for coffee and decided to give this a go. No obvious place to put bikes but Carlos came out and showed us the way to the back porch. Super friendly, good coffee and excellent food! Give it a try, you won't be disappointed!!"

"Went in for lunch, was not disappointed. All of us ordered off their bowl menus and portion size was reasonable. Nice and Clean Tables, good service, good good. Would recommend a visit for sure, and if planning an outing their menu is also very good for take out."

"Thank you for your feedback. If we visit Victoria again, we will stop by and give it another shot. It must be good because there's always a line. It just wasn't my lucky day.We were so excited to try this place and in the morning we headed out. The place was late to open and we got there while the tables were being put out. We ordered and the waffle dough wasn’t ready so we had to go with something else. It was not the best. I make better ones at home. Sadly we were not impressed and I was so excited about going there."

"That was my first visit to Boom Batten and I was so happy with everything. The service was great, the food was excellent, the view was beautiful. During our city Dine Around program (set menus for a specific price), this was the ideal time to try a place I wanted for a while. We sat at a table overlooking the water and that sat the sound for the evening. Beautiful vegan options on the menu and the server was knowledgeable and friendly."
