While you may not have a sea view and it is a bit remote (you need a car), the food and atmosphere is excellent! Portions are sized properly, so you can enjoy few dishes, which are great! Service might be sometimes lagging behind the food, but nothing serious. It is #1 restaurant for us during our whole stay, and we visited close to 10 restaurants in south east of Elba. They can sit on this weingut very nice on the terrace and dine. the service was also very friendly. eating was good, but not as excellent as we would have expected it due to meelin and the prices.

60. Geburtstag im Sapereta. Welch ein grandioser Abschluß! Der Gruß aus der Küche ließ Bestes erahnen. Antipasti waren Fischtartar und Wachtel. Fein abgestimmte Aromen. Dezent eingesetzte Würze ein Spiel am Gaumen. Primi hatten wir Gnocchi Spinat Ricotta mit Ragout überbacken. Und Pappardelle mit dem ultimativ besten Wildschweinragout. Welches Gewürz war from drin? Es lag mir bildlich auf der Zunge, aber erst der Patron verschaffte Aufklärung. LAVENDEL! Sehr dezent aber unheimlich lecker. Second waren 'Alles von der Taube' und Polpo mit Petersilien Kartoffelwürfelchen. Nehmen Sie Weine vom Haus dazu! Es lohnt sich. Der Service ist exzellent. Der Chef machte nach dem Essen seine Aufwartung: sein sympathisches Wesen bestätigt das sehr hohe Niveau seiner Küche. Danke dem Team. Danke für den gelungenen Rahmen. 60th birthday to Sapereta. We ended up going here two days in a row, because the food is so good! Beautiful surroundings, good service. Remember to ask for the daily special. Best dinner we had during our Elba visit!
