"Well hey there, here is a really great place down here on the lower prairie. I stopped by on my way over to Winnipeg and had a nice patty melt, some home made french fries (yes, you read that right!! and a mighty fine cup of coffee. This is the real deal down here on the lower West Man. Or is this the Central Man? It's some kind of Man, as in Manitoba, friends. Anyway. Super good food, good service and a nice local clientele that keep this place busy on a Saturday afternoon. Ice cream, snacks, burgers, BLTs (I believe , and all kinds of other neat things like sweet potato fries. Don't forget that Highway 2 is just as fine as the Trans Canadian, just more beautiful and a slower pace. Here is their facebook page! [hidden link]"

"I've had many excellent meals here over the last few years. Daily specials add a lot of variety instead of the usual burgers and fries that most small towns seem to serve. Homemade soups were always awesome. Prices were reasonable and serving sizes good."
