This was our first visit to this Cinammon Tree Restaurant. We've been to the excellent one in Canton a number of times. What attracted us today was the Sunday Buffet which started at 2.30pm. We arrived a little early but the staff were very welcoming. The Buffet is well set up. You can help yourself to Popodums and dips. Next you can take your pick from the starters. What JCH654 doesn't like about Cinnamon Tree:
The Goan veg curry with fresh veg I was promised had pre-frozen, re- cooked veg and chickpeas I don't like. It wasn't described in the menu as a chickpea curry, which I wouldn't have ordered. The cauliflower was going brown. The sauce was congealed. My chapati was hard. I'm grateful that restaurant staff agreed not to charge us for these. The rest of the meal was OK.
