What Cecil Sanford likes about Cinema Cafe:
The new Greek menu is fantastic! We hadn't been here in a long time, and returned to fine a completely new (improved) menu. This is one of the better Greek restaurants I've been to in Brisbane - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it! View all feedback.
What Celia Nicolae doesn't like about Cinema Cafe:
There are 3 cafés serving Greek cuisine in Oxford St. The quality of the food at Cinema Cafe is consistently better than the other two. I love their seafood platter for two. Only $60 and more than you can eat. Service is a bit hit and miss but it doesn't pretend to be a high end restaurant. Great value for money and the fact that you can BYO wine makes it even better value. View all feedback.
I was disappointed in the tapas, I had mushrooms in sage butter which I could have done at home, these were just mushrooms, I then had the Cajun meatballs
The decor is what bought me to this nondescript cafe. Art deco and cool, there is definitely a touch of theatre to this place. Despite it's kind of tacky
