My wife and I were looking for a BYO restaurant in Hawthorne after going to the movies. There are 4 restaurants just near the Hawthorne Theatre but Tamarind Tree was the only one that was BYO so we gave it a try. The crispy pork belly in sticky honey and ginger sauce was great. I have eaten here a few times and I have to say I love my thai food. This wasnt exceptional thai food by any means but it wasnt bad either. For me its more of a takeaway restaurant when I want a quick and easy meal. Its cheaper than alot of the other restaurants in the same location.
