this is a typical family pub with common family pub. I found the staff very friendly and helpful. eating was more comfort than top-level tariff, but just what I need on this day. the best part of the visit was...that the staff not only knew about the blue light card discount, the pub actually advertising, with many ads for the blue light card and the extension for veterans. What User doesn't like about Hungry Horse The Turf Tavern:
Dogs yapping constantly in upstairs room. Chef and his girlfriend walked past and started calling to the dogs to encourage them to yap more and says, they're our dogs! Then goes in to bring them out side and they run around all the tables. Thought...it was funny. She was a class act. View all feedback.
