Sportsmans - Carlisle

What northwalesnaturist likes about Sportsmans:
I've passed this hotel many a time and decided to dine there recently. Meals enjoyed included starters of scallops (yes pleural and there were more than one), black pudding and mains of halibut and lamb. The deserts were excellent too. Decent wine list, great staff and a cosy atmosphere right on the A7. View all feedback.

What Blokerods doesn't like about Sportsmans:
Lesson one: Serve me the wrong wine and them explain you got drunk at lunchtime and were still a little muddled.
