Tavern - Carlisle

We had a fantastic meal at The Tavern, the pub section of The Crown and Mitre. We ordered the beef burger and breaded chicken burger, which were served with homemade chips and salad. The burgers were not your average ones - they were homemade, tasty, and piping hot. We also enjoyed a side of freshly cooked onion rings. The bartender was very friendly and accommodating. I visited the café bar outside of the Crown and Mitre Hotel. Since I was alone, I only ordered one drink at a time. However, the general manager, Mr. David Crossley, instructed staff to remove me as I was seated at a two-person table by myself.
