Visited for Sunday dinner and I had a fantastic house boiled style Sunday roast. Food was delayed by 5 minutes so they could make us fresh Yorkshires! Very happy! I had the mustard glazed ham, it was fantastic! View all feedback.

We recently bought a caravan near the Royal Oak that has become our local when we are there. The pub offers a great welcome with an excellent selection of beers and lagiers. Sunday dinners are fantastic. We were now twice and were not disappointed on both occasions. I would recommend the mustard glazed ham, but it is all good and if they have the ginger sponge on the desert menu then go for it. Make sure you are hungry, I would suggest skipping breakfast.
Sunday dinner today. Large house cooked food and much of it, although you can order small, medium or large roast dinner (what a great idea). The owners were very friendly and friendly. This is a very busy place on a Sunday so you need to book a table. We will certainly be back for more.
What a lovely experience, a really nice pub with a wonderful outside space. The staff were great and really engaged with our 3 year old (I hate kids in pubs) but better than this was the food, I'd particularly recommend the mustard roast ham which was superb. I will be telling my friends about this little gem.
Absolutely gorgeous roast dinner. Would highly recommend...and yes I'm going back for more!!!
