Luv The Dinn Rí, Great table service polite, Clean, Comfortable, Great Chesterfield couches, However, food is a tad expensive €3.50 for a small portion of fries...

Central in Carlow, was in for St Patrick's day 2024 and great buzz across all the different levels of the pub!

The carvery lunch never disappoints, always tasty and excellent service. The Peppercorn Chicken is a particular highlight.

"Saturday night . . . where do you go in Carlow? well there's one place I could strongly recommend its Lennons@VISUAL, I have to admit that it was booked for me buy a local as I'de have never found it. A restaurant beside in the same building as the Visual arts theatre, in the heart o Carlow. Menu is limited but excellent, we had KFC wings and NO test not what you think, KFC – Korean Chicken Wings,Soy, sesame, spring onion, chilli, carrot coriander salad and delicious, and I had a crab cake, I'd have to say the crab cakes were a little bland but the wings were superb, on to the mains, I had Tempura of Haddock,Masala aioli, minted peas, fennel, watercress, curry oil, double cooked chip, a posh name for Fish and Chips the batter was to die for excellent choice, and the other main was Fillet of Cod Pan-fried, red pepper basquaise, chorizo mussel vinaigrette, saffron mousseline (gf) superb again, service with string green beans and a boiled potato, we had a bottle of UBY, Cotes De Gascount at just under €30 which was a little steep but nice wine, and one desert . . . well we won't say too much about the desert as it was not as good as the rest of the food, all in all it worked out including a tip €50 a head . . . good value for the quality of food . . . I am back next Saturday to try something different I would recommend its a nice trendy place."

"Food was reheated, lumpy gravy and potatoes had an off taste, was over charged and when I questioned it I was refunded but no explanation or apology and when I contacted the premises I was told staff were trained to the highest standard no apology or refund or asked to come back at a discount. Very unappealing"
