Red fireplace open pit BBQ grill. I had the best food all week. Smoked Ham, cut brisket and sausage. Fried okra and cold potato salad. With red beans and roasted dinner rolls. And a big iced tea. I didn't really care about her BBQ sauce that it wasn't good, I cooked and won in competition, so I'm not a fan of most sauces, but really the food didn't need it. The food was very good. Not Texas BBQ. Not Memphis BBQ. Not Carolina BBQ. They have a taste all their own. I prefer Memphis style BBQ and it wasn't. I have the two meat combinations. (Brisket and Pig) both meats were very good, but dry. The house BBQ Sauce is on the side. Your sauce is a combination of Carolina?? It was too watery for me. Collected at the bottom of the plate and hold on to nothing. (I prefer my frits with BBQ sauce and that... View all feedback.

Collected at the bottom of the plate and hold on to nothing. (I prefer my frits with BBQ sauce and that was impossible to do) My wife also got the 2 meat combination. Both tasty but the turkey was a little dry. The Wels dinner was plentiful and we will be delighted by our guest. All in all, the smoked meat was delicious, but a BBQ joint needs a better BBQ sauce. While this might love YOUR, it wasn't what I expected.

I see a long successful future for The Red Chimney... thanks for a great meal and a great experience.
Got the Hogs sky, and this title is pretty accurate. My friend ordered the spare ribs and she loved them. The ham was great, the brisket was great, and the sausage is great if you like spicy. The tea was also made fresh, so a plus. The beans are hot and good, and the sides were also good. Fries was fine, but the fried Okra, the hush puppies and macaroni cheese were all amazing. The hush puppies were the best side as they were hot and crispy. My girlfriend also gave me a spare rib and it was delicious. Good grill. Besides, the surroundings are beautiful. Like an old fashion BBBQ restaurant.
Very cool looking barbecue area. This restaurant is a classic block building. It is decorated with many older relics and filled wildlife such as deer, elk and even a small bear. The restaurant was packed when I showed up. This is usually a good sign. The staff was very friendly and the food was pretty good. The menu is very easy to order. Sweet tea was very good. The BBQ was freshly smoked and served with rolls and a homemade BBQ sauce. The service was very fast and attentive. I was very impressed that we were within 45 minutes, although the restaurant was packed. Defines a day again.
Pretty quick service, given it was completely full throughout the time we were there. The food was really great. Ordered the Piled High Chop Mix with sides of hushpuppies and salad. Salad was great. The hushpuppies were a little dry, but maybe that?s just me. The entrées were delicious. The quantity was too much for one person, so had the get a to-go box for the rest.
