£11.95 for 3 courses was excellent value at the stag and pheasant. I wasn’t overly keen on the balsamic vinegar on the prawn cocktail or the peppers but everyone else enjoyed their pate and soup. The turkey dinner was good with lots of turkey- 3 slices but the people who had beef felt a little hard done by with only 1 slice. The veg was fine. Dinner was great in a typical Welsh menu, mostly in an evening not exactly excellent climatically, watered by excellent beer. The price quality ratio very good....
