Lentil soup was outstanding! Gnocchi, not so good. Waiter, Daniel was great. Nic evening. (But they do have the best Huevos Rancheros for brunch!

"I so happy I found this place! I had the carne asada super burrito ? and it was delicious! The burrito was a bit more expensive than I pay in San Francisco (though every restaurant in PG seems to be more expensive than the Bay Area? . The portions were massive, the meat and rice had excellent flavor, the service was fast and friendly. 5 stars! I will absolutely be back."

"I could have given this restaurant a but the maitre d was rude to us considering that they were the ones who made a mistake in putting pm for reservation. They said they are closed but open table has a pm reservation. They should change it to pm if they don’t want people to come at pm. Nevertheless, their server Loy made up for the rudeness of their maitre d’. He was gracious the whole time and we felt not rushed at all. Since we are locals, we will definitely go back but hopefully they learn to treat their customers better"

"Everything was PERFECT! The View, Atmosphere, Food, Service, everything! We were in Carmel celebrating my dad’s birthday week, and this was the best restaurant experience from beginning to end, flawless! This was our first time visiting and we got lost finding parking, but the valet person (very very kindly) helped us out (though we ended up valet parking). Reception was polite and promptly got us seated (the lighting menu was such a great touch, especially for my parents since its hard for them to read under a low lighted restaurant). Our waiter was AMAZING! He was very friendly, attentive, and took time to make small talks/jokes which we all enjoyed! He definitely knew the food wine menu, the way he introduced it sounded so good some of us changed what we wanted to get. Food was absolutely great! We got the calamari, mussels, beef bourguignon, salmon, halibut, risotto, bottle of wine, house-made ice cream, chocolate mousse cake; and everything was top notch!! We weren’t rushed out after our meal/wine was done. Everyone really enjoyed and had a great time! So sad I don’t live around, otherwise this place would definitely be my ‘goto’ place for any special occasion! Nevertheless, I would definitely go again, if I’m visiting the area!"

"This is simply one of the best fine dining restaurants in the world. They deserve international acclaim; they're vastly underrated with a single Michelin star designation. They recently updated the dining room to convey a sense of place mere blocks from the Pacific ocean that's more closely tied to the cuisine, which is seafood focused with techniques that lean more Japanese than French in many cases. All of the dishes were flawlessly executed with a high level of creativity and precision. The service is impeccable. Formal yet warm. The staff is keen to share their extensive knowledge, whether it's the sourcing of the ingredients or the details of the cooking techniques. The wine pairing had so many interesting selections, each with a unique and memorable story. The flavor profiles were matched perfectly to complement the dishes. Can't wait to come back!"
