Seating delayed until about 15 mins after reservation time, but we'll worth the wait. Food was great and service very good. The number of patrons says something for the restaurant. Word must be out how good the restaurant is. Patrons were all very friendly too. Had conversations with a couple of neighboring tables. Very enjoyable. View all feedback.

We enjoyed our lunch at PortaBella restaurant. It's a very quaint restaurant, with nice outside seating in the front and a covered atrium area in the back. The food was quite good. My husband had the prawn salad and I had the sand dabs both very good. They could have added 1 2 more prawns, but my husband said they were well presented and were very tasty. Very well-run restaurant. The owner is usually there and the staff is proactive and service-oriented. The food is pretty good and cheap. Try the roasted octopus, it's the best.
I have eaten several times here, usually order seafood entrees. The crab maize cutter is excellent.
The food was excellent. We had the corn and Clam-chowder for starters. Very delicious. My wife had the scallops with Pea risotto and I had the sand of Dabs. Both were made perfect and a decent size. We also had the bread pudding, huge and delicious! And the melted chocolate cake. Delicious! My only minor complaint was the service a little dirty. It took a while to eat and needed to refill for water a few times to ask. The waiter only checked us after fasting. But surely will return. Also the Pesto sauce they served with bread was excellent!
We had the lobster bisque soup and shrimp for an appetizer, the chicken and scallops for dinner and it was amazing! A musician even played the guitar around the tables! Would recommend!
If you want good food, great service and feel like one of the family, then this place us for you.
