So far the best sushi we've found in Monterey Bay area. Great food, variety, friendly staff. Very fresh, definitely a must try.
Their sushi is the best I’ve had. It makes other sushi places look and taste mediocre. I’ve been quite a few times and it never fails to satisfy.

"Wow! What a fantastic dinner. Had the special salad with cantaloupe, feta, walnuts and figs great taste. The lobster ravioli was the best I ever had. Finished with a homemade Cannoli light as a feather and filled with creamy delicacies. A five-star experience! We'll be back."

"I so happy I found this place! I had the carne asada super burrito ? and it was delicious! The burrito was a bit more expensive than I pay in San Francisco (though every restaurant in PG seems to be more expensive than the Bay Area? . The portions were massive, the meat and rice had excellent flavor, the service was fast and friendly. 5 stars! I will absolutely be back."

"Good standard doughnuts. Crullers only available Fri-Sun. Price for dozen increased to $14 for plain and $24 for fancy but half a dozen available for half the price plus a $1 or so more. Free donut holes in each box is a nice surprise."

"Are you looking for a comfortable neighborhood bar when you travel to Carmel By The Sea? Brophys Tavern is it!. Brophy is at the corner of San Carlos and 4. It is just a short walk from the Ocean Avenue, which cut through the middle of downtown and down to the beach. It is located in the same building as the lobby of Hotel Carmel (former Dolphin Inn), where I stayed. If you are not looking for it, you can miss the shield, but the locals definitely know about Brophys Tavern."
