Well... you need to book in advance or walk during the day before no French knowledge is required (at times in the chief book does it). In other words, after you get your table, you are for a treat. We were the first customers at 18:50. We had just arrived in Carnac after being six hours on the road and were somewhat tired. Our two-year-old was hungry so I told my husband that he could order for him while I'll go wash my hands. Then the waiter said rudely: "we take orders only at 19:00."
