Note: my experience here was with a coupon voucher. You experience may vary from mine. I had the Cao Mai dish, that is you select multiple items and they cook it for you in a hot pot before serving. Make sure you get in early because by dinner time it was a full house. View all feedback.
What מרום מייזליש doesn't like about Bashuge Traditional Szechuan Restaurant:
Went on a voucher for family of4. Only allowed to order 6 items in the bowl. Not only very little but cannot place another order until you finish. Then only can order again. Have to wait 10-15 minutes for the next pot to come. Then only can put another order. Spent about 1 hour & had only 3 bowls. Left frustrated, angry and still hungry. Went to another eatery to have dinner again. View all feedback.
I get voucher here . but tonight i got TERRIBLE dinner in this restaurant. I don't think Mao Cai dish like this. This is seem look like MIX SOUP . They gave us big bowl with everything we ordered (max for 1 time order 5 - 6 things ) inside the bowl , that all . Aslo , when I order second time , we were waitting nearly 20 mins . We so upset with them service ..... everything SO BAD !

Went here on a voucher with a few friends. Ordered the spicy hot pot which was very nice, also ordered the normal which was ok too but a bit salty. Good service and quality of food was good. Would visit here again..
If you like Sichuan food - that is, you crave the excitement of a burnt tongue and numbed lips; then Bashuge is for you. If you are not a chilli afficionado, then I would think twice, almost everything on the menu is spicy. The food is great - it is authentic Sichuan cooking both in terms of the dishes and the hot pot. But adding to that (and you can decide whether this is a good thing or not), it gives you that authentic Chinese food feel with slightly greasy tables and floors and a strong food smell lingering over the place. For those in the know, highly recommend it. Anyone looking for "Aussie Chinese", stay away!
Dinner for two with partner who doesn't like it to spicy. Chose this restaurant based on other trip advisor reviews. A restaurant I had walked past plenty of times never considering going in as it didn't look appealing. Will go again. Service and food very authentic. One, two, three or no chillies on the menu rated all dishes according spiciness. Stated with some dumplings, not bad then a chance to choose 5 ingredients to go into a spicy soup. (2 chilli rating) Prawns, calamari and bok choy my choice, waitress suggested fish and tofu. Great suggestions. I loved it a little bit too spicy for partner but manageable. Main was a pepper steak with peppers, (one chilli) very tasty. Would definitely come again. Next time would like to try hot pot that nearly very other table was trying.
