This restaurant is amazing! The staff were friendly and attentive, and the lunch special was very generous. Getting a full meal with salad for just $10 is a steal. I ordered the fried tofu with vegetables and it was delicious, followed by sticky rice with mango for dessert. I highly recommend this place! It's conveniently located for lunch and has both indoor and outdoor seating. View all feedback.
What Bill Schaller doesn't like about Cham Thai Cuisine:
We used to be big fans of Cham Thai due to its fresh and flavorful food, but lately we have noticed a significant decline in quality. Our recent order was bland, overly salty, and slightly greasy, matching the disappointing experience we had with our previous order. While the portion sizes were generous, the overall quality was lacking. We are hopeful that the restaurant will address these issues and return to its pr... View all feedback.
Wife wanted Thai and wanted to try this new place out. Parked in deck and it was busy but not unmanageable. Restaurant had ample seating. Sat down next to a decent sized crew. Waitress was in training and had to tell her my order 3x. She came back to clarify what we both ordered. My wife’s order twice. We got the fresh rolls appetizer with shrimp. What can our was two rolls, cut in half… looked nice but we couldn’t find any shrimp. It was packed to the gills with shredded lettuce and carrots, one piece of fake crab. My wife found a tiny shrimp after a bite. One. That’s kinda misleading advertising. They were pretty. But pretty blah and hardly any shrimp. I got some spicy peanut chicken. She ordered massaman curry. My dish came out. Smelled okay. But after five minutes, no dish for her. We started trying to flag down a server. After a few more minutes one saw us looking for attention and said curry coming right up. It did. But ten minutes after my dish sat there and we had the awkward “go ahead and eat, no I’ll wait” Her curry was loaded with potatoes. Which it’s supposed to have. But not a lot of chicken. So … it would appear that they load your order with whatever ingredient is cheapest and then skimp on the rest. And the table next to us got a dish comped because it came out waaaay late and they took it as takeout instead. So meh food. Spotty (but friendly) service. Very unlikely to go back. Better Thai options are around.
Amazing food! The spicy crispy tofu was absolutely perfect and despite the pad thai and pad see ew not being quite the way I like them at other places that veganize those dishes, they were still wonderful and had a really nice char flavor to the veggies. Will be back!Dietary restrictions: Plenty of vegan options
We used to love this restaurant but last week we went there the food and service was not like before. Don’t know why! A little bit disappointed.
I am by no means a Thai expert, but I have tried most in the area. Cham Thai is definitely our favorite. Everything we have tried has been excellent. Occasionally the service is a little slow, but it’s worth the wait. Staff is friendly. Highly recommend.
SO SAD! This has been our favorite place to take friends until tonight. We had heard that there were new owners, and that it was not the same. When I noticed the new, shiny menus and some decor changes, I figured that was correct. Tom Kha Gui, usually bursting with flavor, was extremely bland with no hint of coconut milk. We never even finished the pot. The pad Thai was passable, although nothing to write home about, or write on TripAdvisor about! The ginger mushroom stirfry was totally tasteless. We could find no ginger. The highlight of the dish was the stirfried celery and that should tell you something. Prices up. Quality down. Sad, indeed.
