"The hotel is situated in lovely surroundings, in a lovely part of Ireland. We were here at a very busy time, straight after the St Patrick's day celebrations. The Ireland v England Rugby match was all over the television screens when we (two Englishmen) walked in. The atmosphere was very friendly and the staff were most welcoming. It took me quite a while to work out what to have as almost everything on the menu sounded fabulous. The food arrived very quickly once we ordered and the food certainly did not disappoint. There was plenty of it, it was absolutely delicious and the service was great. The dessert menu is a separate menu, which worried us at first as we didn't see people having desserts. Once we obtained the dessert menu they were first class. The cheesecake was one of the best I've had anywhere. We will definitely back as we want to try more of the menu!!"
