"Beware of prices. They billed us COP 200,000 per person that included lunch, one beverage with your meal, one cocktail, and a shared tent. Food was below average, even though meal sizes were bigger than average, quality was poor. There isn’t a beach per se, there is a space where you can come down from the deck to the water but there isn’t beach sand, rather mud. Service on behalf of the staff was excellent, but overall, prices were excessive and they were not clearly communicated at our arrival."

"Our stay at Baru Playa Eco Beach Resort was absolutely perfect! The staff there are incredible, every single one of them goes out of their way to make sure you have whatever it is you need, they really made our stay incredible. We stayed in the King Suite and it was really nice, clean, large room with high ceilings (on the second floor , great a/c, bathroom was nice and clean, and great views. There was a hammock out front on the balcony which was perfect for relaxing (only suggestion would be to have a second hammock or comfortable chair to lounge together . The location is great. Its very quiet there, not a ton to do (kayak, snorkel tour, paddle boards (for rent but if you're looking to disconnect and relax its the perfect place. The wifi worked well for us while we were there. The food was good, somewhat limited menu, but everything we had was delicious (octopus, ceviche, fish of the day, burger, chicken . Only thing to know is there is not hot water for shower and breakfast is pretty limited (fruit, eggs, cereal . Rooms: Really nice! Everything was clean, comfortable king size bed, good a/c, nice bathroom. Nearby activities: Kayaking, snorkeling Food drinks: Food was delicious! We enjoyed everythign that we had (ceviche, chicken, octopus, fish of the day, burger . Breakfast was somewhat limited (cereal, eggs, fruit . Noteworthy details: The staff were incredible!! They were so friendly and helpful, i've never stayed anywhere with such nice people. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Quiet"
