First of all, this place is gorgeous! It has a very vintage touch, like old Havana. I felt so good there. The staff is extremely friendly and relaxed. They seem to have a good relationship with their french boss! When I came there was just one vegan option available but oh my it was delicious! What Nieve doesn't like about La Carbonera:
Stopped in for lunch today, very cute spot. Unfortunately there was no vegan plate, just a soup. I was a bit bummed after having read the great reviews, I might have just been unlucky. The soup was quite tasty but not what I wanted on a humid sticky day in Cartagena. Maybe call ahead to ask about their options before heading over.
