"I actually came across this restaurant by accident on my trip to Cartagena.Even having managed a Jean Georges restaurant in New York, I was deeply impressed by the service, food quality, cocktails, and presentation.All of the seafood appetizers that we had were super delicious, and the cocktails were really well crafted and presented as well. I had the Moscow Mule, which was awesomely balanced. In addition, my server handled a translation error I made with grace and humor and I was so appreciative. The owner is also so charming and so intelligent, and you can tell she is dedicated to providing the best experience possible.If you're on vacation with a more expensive currency than Colombian Pesos especially, this place is a steal. 30000 Pesos came out to about 10 USD for one of the best meals I've ever had in a restaurant. If you can rent a boat to get out here, or drive the long way on the highway, you must try it."

"Our stay at Baru Playa Eco Beach Resort was absolutely perfect! The staff there are incredible, every single one of them goes out of their way to make sure you have whatever it is you need, they really made our stay incredible. We stayed in the King Suite and it was really nice, clean, large room with high ceilings (on the second floor , great a/c, bathroom was nice and clean, and great views. There was a hammock out front on the balcony which was perfect for relaxing (only suggestion would be to have a second hammock or comfortable chair to lounge together . The location is great. Its very quiet there, not a ton to do (kayak, snorkel tour, paddle boards (for rent but if you're looking to disconnect and relax its the perfect place. The wifi worked well for us while we were there. The food was good, somewhat limited menu, but everything we had was delicious (octopus, ceviche, fish of the day, burger, chicken . Only thing to know is there is not hot water for shower and breakfast is pretty limited (fruit, eggs, cereal . Rooms: Really nice! Everything was clean, comfortable king size bed, good a/c, nice bathroom. Nearby activities: Kayaking, snorkeling Food drinks: Food was delicious! We enjoyed everythign that we had (ceviche, chicken, octopus, fish of the day, burger . Breakfast was somewhat limited (cereal, eggs, fruit . Noteworthy details: The staff were incredible!! They were so friendly and helpful, i've never stayed anywhere with such nice people. Rooms: 5 Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view, Quiet"

"There is a constant construction in the hotel which makes it very loud. Also entire place runs on generators which gives a bad smell in The hotel. Generators located next to the rooms and I constantly woke up because of bad smell. Also entire 3 days wifi didn’t work. Beach is very small and has tonns of rocks before u get in the water. Music was very loud With the radio playing tonns of commercials. Couldn’t understand why they can not play a simple lounge music. Last but not least bar located right next to rooms where u sleep, so it is almost impossible to fall a sleep even when construction stops, As it is very loud"

"Premetto che non è stato facile raggiungere il posto, perché dal molo di Cartagena avevamo chiesto un trasposto ad Isla Grande convinti forse erroneamente che Isla Grande era una spiaggia da cui partivano altre piccole imbarcazioni per le isole più piccole, eravamo finiti in un posto improponibile...ma dopo un po' di lamentele ci hanno accompagnati al Erizos! Arrivati...siamo rimasti esterrefatti...il posto è stupendo...ha un piccolo molo con sedie a sdraio e una piccola spiaggia! Nel pranzo alla carta a prezzi più che accettabili è compreso l'utilizzo delle sdraio e noleggiano volendo anche le maschere per lo snorkeling! La sorpresa più grande è stata la vasca in mare con le aragoste che si possono scegliere e mangiare! BUONISSIME!!! Volendo si può anche dormire e la struttura organizza il trasporto da Cartagena, basta contattarla telefonicamente (3176992718/3172770655)CONSIGLIATO!!!"
