My husband's family is from Maine and as a result we are all obsessed with Amato's ham Italian sandwiches. The sandwiches we got tonight (with Extra Tomatoes) were superb. And the sandwich maker who worked tonight was very efficient and friendly. Thank you! My husband's only critique is that the olives were not kalamata. View all feedback.
What Alejandra Garza doesn't like about Amato's Carver:
I got a large veggie sub and a small capicola. The small capicola was the best of the two. The veggie sub was just too much veggies for a small roll. The Italian pasta salad was good, just a little too heavily sauced. The mac salad was hands down the NASTIEST mac salad i have ever had. It was inedible. Wondering why with so much good bread available Amato uses what amounts to a glorified hot dog roll for its subs. Terrible.
