"What a Plymouth Gem! Rye Tavern is tucked away in the picturesque woods of Plymouth MA. My friends and I traveled from Boston to Plymouth to celebrate (safely... we all tested negative for COVID) bachelorette weekend. We had our final dinner at Rye Tavern and were in love with the setting, staff, and food. The restaurant spills out of a 18th century farm house onto a beautiful patio. The farm to table style meal was absolutely delectable and beautifully prepared. The space was clean and COVID conscious with lots of space in between tables, disposable menus, and sanitized tables in between guests. The staff stayed 6 feet apart and wore their masks appropriately the entire time. When we approached after dinner desserts, I was sorely disappointed to have a dairy allergy. The menu had the most tasty assortment of cakes, ice-cream, and seasonal goodies I’ve ever seen. When I asked the waitress if any of it was dairy free, she rushed back to ask the pastry chef. Unfortunately, none of it was free of lactose. BUT the pastry chef created a customized a dairy free dream of caramelized apples, pecans, and marshmallows with fresh pomegranate seeds drizzled with honey. It was one of the tastiest desserts I’ve ever had. I would absolutely come back to this establishment and would recommend anyone else to go."

"The plain cheese pizza has to be tasted. Fresh out of the oven, the crust edges are crispy yet tender but the sauce. The Sauce and maybe the combination of the cheese with that thin crust. There's no comparison. It's been that way my whole life. It's the only thin crust pizza I like. Of course all the Italian dishes are Excellent. Maybe I'm biased. But maybe not... Find out for yourself!"

"Omg. I never in my whole life have been 100% satisfied with my experience food as I have here. The food was beyond 5 stars, huge portions. I got the prime rib, baked haddock combo soooo delicious . Comes with 2 sides. Our waitress was great! Everything came out in a timely fashion. And if I could give it 10 stars I would. I’ll be back. It’s so hard to please my boyfriend and I with food. We love seafood and love trying new places. This has been my favorite so far in the 28 years I’ve been on this earth"
