New owners! Their presence has motivated me to finally make a YELP review about this place This has been a go-to spot for me and my cousins for years.
A FAMILY RESTAURANT My wife and I have come here four or five times for breakfast I get the skillets like every time.
Service was great Fast and courteous Coffee was great.

"I love this place! It 's very retro looking straight out of the 1950s. But the main attraction is (of course) the frozen custard. It 's made right there, and in addition to the basic chocolate vanilla options, every day of the month has its own featured flavor. We were there most recently for espresso coffee flavor, which was divine. There are a lot of concoctions to be made with the frozen custard: plain cones, sundaes, milkshakes, etc., so you don 't ever have to have the same thing twice if you don 't want to! My husband I live about 10 miles away, but stop there for dessert any time we 're in this area. Highly recommended!"

"I have a voucher for a free dozen donuts. It was a great opportunity to try them out as we've never been here. A big DANKEN! Our favorite was the French curls simple and w chocolate. Others were okay like us? just don't re fans of all these fillings and creams. I'd come back to just get simple donuts."

"Big Sam looked just like the photo on the cups they serve. Since I have even in Chicagoland for long I'm not sure how it stacks up to a traditional idea of a Chicago dog, but I was a little underwhelmed. I played it safe getting a #1 on the menue which is like 2 Hotdogs, fries, and a drink. You can have any topping put on the hot dog you want. The Hotdogs I got were like your typical backyard cookout. Fries were good and crispy hit drink cup was a little small compared to a big fast food chain but with how bad sugar is for our bodies I guess it isn't all bad. It looked very clean inside and the menue is bigger than just hot dogs, it is worth exploring again sometime."

"I 'm French o France ans there is nothing tasting from Paris. The food was too basic and absolutely not tasty. We don 't eat that in French. Wrong publicity. The service was not aimable . Even the Mcdo next to this place had a better customer service and better ambiance (jazz music in the Mcdo). I recommend to the owner going to travel to France to really have a Taste of Paris. Sorry for my rude message but it was soooo disappointed and wrong publicity to France ."

"El Cochino is adorably decorated and the food is good. Diablo shrimp bowl was very tasty with just the right amount of spice although the shrimp were tiny. Where they fall short is that the food took a long time to come out. They nickel and dime you on everything. Chips and salsa are a $6.00 add-on, flavored rice was an extra $2.00 and the portions were pretty small for the price of the entree."
