01 June, 2016.I had come for an official trip to Ponda, Goa. My hosts took meout for dinner in the impressive Sunflower Restaurant, on theground floor of hotel Sun Inn. We were a bit late. The place isneat and clean, and my hosts were perhaps as hungry as I was.The lighting is nice, with deep brown furniture. We started witha spicy soup: Chicken Manchow, done with an Indian konkani touch.For starters, my hosts suggested golden fried prawns, served witha slightly hot chutney. For the main course, we had a spicychicken curry, with naan. For dessert, with the Wife not with mein Goa (when the cat is away, the mice will be at play),I let go all thoughts of calorie consciousness. It wasice cream for all of us!.
