This small osteria is a little off the beaten track, on the way out of Castelfranco, but it's definitely worth the finding. Still busy at 9.20pm, the owner is a charming and helpful host and the atmosphere very traditional. As is the food. Tortellini in Brodo is a local favorite and we had beautifully cooked beef, washed down with a local Lambrusco. Don't go for the rush and bustle of Bologna, CFE is a quiet interest...
