nice location at the lake. eating is ok, but we waited for absolute age groups (total of minutes for a drink and eat), although it was not busy. the personal is...

Stopped in here for a quick bite as I was in the neighbourhood for work.

Bean Bar is more like a café than restaurant in my books.

All around a great place for a date atmosphere with a unique menu and awesome cheesecake selections.

"I had arranged for lunch for 13 people with a further 7 people having drinks. Although the owner has a limited understanding of English we managed between us to work out what was needed. The food was lovely and very well presented.... a word of...warning we had a 3 course light' lunch and it was huge the salad alone would have been enough. I would certainly go there again...."

"Very good tapas food and very reasonably priced. Staff very welcoming. Only black mark was that it was full of smokers! Should have noticed the ashtrays on every table. Apparently legal to smoke as the dining area is not a permanent structure. Regrettably will not be returning."

"After recommendations by friends, we went to this restaurant. It is a lovely restaurant and the staff are very welcoming. Unfortunately, it ends there! Maybe it was the result of an ill conceived menu or possible other problems!!! As the Mirabeau was obviously in season, the chef had gone overboard with them!! The starter foix gras tart was smothered in this sickly concoction so that one could hardly taste the foix gras. Then came the Cote de Boeuf which was nicely cooked and the vegetables pleasant also, but the whole was again covered this sickly mess of a sauce, which ruined the beef. The desert was some very peculiar conglomeration, served in a sundae glass. Not at all what we were expecting. We were happy to get away from the restaurant intact (or so we thought) although feeling totally bloated. However the worst was yet to come with three of us not being able to move far away from the toilet all night! There was something seriously wrong with this restaurant last night. We just hope that the large birthday party that came in as we left didn’t choose the menu that we did!!! Never again unfortunately."

"The owners of this great restaurant have really stamped there own personality on it. Home grown products really add a great touch. Excellence is clearly a priority when it comes to the food, service and condition of the premises. As for the location.....stunning The atmosphere...is relaxed and you are not rushed I can’t recommend La Chope et Le Pichet enough"
