Lovely restaurant. The starters were fantastic (see photo of the sea food salad! The pizzas were just excellent and the service was second to none!! I'd recommend this place to anyone visiting Santa Maria View all feedback.

What MrsBWestonsuperMare doesn't like about La Pergola:
12 of us turned up on a slow night. The waitress was very accommodating and moved tables together but it all went downhill after that. The kitchen could not cope and the meals turned up haphazardly. Bread and fries came when some of us had finished. Swordfish was a sad looking thin slice of fish which was bland, calamari was the worst I’d ever eaten, spaghetti and clams over-salted and undercooked pasta. Not fresh pasta either. Ravioli was nice but not enough of it. Octopus was nice. The beef was inedible and could not even be cut, let alone eaten. They did change this for ravioli for us. We should have known better really turning up to an empty restaurant but we put it down to the fact that it’s out of season and none of the restaurants are busy. Won’t be going back.
